iPhone - Reading the Bible

Once you've downloaded the Olive Tree Bible Study App to your iPad or iPhone, it's easy to get started reading the Bible.

Tap on the Olive Tree app logo to open the app

Tap on the screen in the Olive Tree app to bring up the menu

  • Two Library Views

Tap on the 'Library' button from the top menu to bring up your downloaded books

There are two options for viewing the library. The default option is to display a list of your available titles

If you drag your library window down, you will reveal the option to toggle between two library views

The image that looks like a grid diplays your library on a bookshelf

The image that looks like lines displays your library in a list view

In either view, tap on a title to open it in your Bible app

  • 'Go To' Views for Bibles

Tap on the 'Go To' button from the top menu to bring up the table of contents

In Bibles and Study Bibles there are a couple options for viewing the table of contents

Drag the table of contents down to reveal the option to toggle between the different views

You can togle between the list view and a grid view of the Bible.

Tap on a book, chapter and verse to quickly navigate to that location and get reading.
