Description
"You do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away" (James 4:14). This verse is the foundation for the 31 meditations in John Piper's ebook Life As a Vapor. Human life is but a vapor and eternal life is everlasting, and, as this ebook reveals, we choose in this vapor of a life how we will spend our eternal life. We have, however, "something firm to grasp…the gospel is firm and lasts forever." Using a Christ-centered approach, the unique meditations in Life As a Vapor examine issues ranging from "how to query God" to "God's favorite color." The meditations develop the ebook's theme of our life as "just a vapor."
