Many see the letter of 1 Corinthians as a letter of correction. Indeed, there were many errors that had crept into the Corinthians belief system and into their spiritual walk. Some of the issues that Paul needed to address included:

2 Corinthians is one of the most personal and intimate of all of Paul s epistles. He opens his heart to the church of Corinth, tells them secrets of his miracle encounters with Jesus, and instructs them in how to live in one continual triumph after another.
