Although God is never mentioned in Esther, it reminds us that even when circumstances may appear contrary to fact, God is both there and working things out. Although we may not see, hear, or feel God in our circumstances, he is still with us because of his promise.
Exalting Jesus in Esther is part of the Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary series edited by David Platt, Daniel L. Akin, and Tony Merida. All volumes take a Christ-centered approach to expositing the books of the Bible. Instead of a verse-by-verse approach, the authors explain and apply key passages, teaching readers to see Christ in all aspects of Scripture.Landon Dowden is originally from Louisiana where he graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999.
