Available for:
iPad, iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows.
Features
Click on a feature to learn more.
The Resource Guide is the most powerful feature in the Olive Tree Bible App. As you read your Bible in the main window, the Resource Guide follows along and displays relevant Bible study information from your study notes, commentaries, maps and more.
Tap on a word and access its parsing instantaneously. A pop-up window will display a dictionary definition, a link to more information, a gloss, and parsings. For more advanced study, you can search on the word's morphology as well.
This is so much more than a traditional dictionary. While you're reading the Bible, the Resource Guide will pull up articles from this dictionary. You can also select words in the text and tap "Look Up" to access relevant information in a pop-up window.
Did your resource mention a passage of Scripture, but you can't remember what the verse says? Never fear! Tap the linked verse and a pop-up window will appear, giving you quick and easy access to the verse in context.

Description

NA 28 is now available!

Touch a word in the Greek New Testament and instantly view Mounce-Koivisto morphology and parsing information, along with links to the related entry in the Concise Greek-English Dictionary of the New Testament.

This package gives you access to three critical resources, linked for a seamless study experience:

The Greek New Testament, Nestle-Aland 27th Edition, is regarded as the standard edition of the Greek text for modern scholarship. Originating with Eberhard Nestle, whose First Edition was published in 1898, the text was further revised by Kurt Aland in 1952. Aland continued as a member of the editorial board and has been joined by numerous other noted scholars, such as Bruce M. Metzger, who direct the continuing efforts to increase the accuracy and usefulness of this Greek compilation.

Mounce-Koivisto Morphology includes the lexical form (or lemma) and parsing information for each word in the Greek text, along with a brief English gloss. The morphological tagging was originally created by Dr. Bill Mounce and revised by Dr. Rex A. Koivisto.

The Concise Greek-English Dictionary of the New Testament provides a definition for each Greek word. The appropriate lexical entry is hyper-linked from the words in the GNT text, you can choose to open the dictionary whenever you view parsing information. The dictionary is also independently accessible, so you can look up words without linking from the Greek text.
