Description
Fifty-six scholars, authors, and Bible teachers combined their expertise to compile the Dictionary of Premillennial Theology. Entries cover major theological terms and concepts in prophetic studies as well as the eschatology of each book of the Bible, individual Scripture passages, and various extra-canonical writings.

The historical development of various views is presented and discussed along with contemporary positions within premillennialism. Also included are articles on the major figures in prophetic studies such as Scofield, Chafer, Ladd, Pentecost, Ryrie, and Walvoord, as well as historical figures such as the church fathers, Augustine, Jonathan Edwards, and John Nelson Darby.

Helpful cross-references and bibliographies of significant works enhance the Dictionary of Premillennial Theology's usefulness as a basic reference tool. In addition to more than one hundred and eighty entries, several charts and tables help clarify various historical movements and theological issues. The Dictionary of Premillenial Theology is a practical reference book for anyone engaged in the study of biblical prophecy and premillenial theology.
