According to scholars, the year 2033 will mark the end of the second millennium of the church, and perhaps enough time will have passed such that no mark or resemblance is left of the contemporary church or the church born at Pentecost. Ecclesiastes 3:11 states that humankind was created with eternity in its heart, and the church was called to exhibit its inherent resemblance to Christ for all ages. Trusting this, the question that we ask ourselves in this auspicious time is if after almost two thousand years the church still reflects with faithfulness the character and resemblance of He who called her from the shadows to His admirable light.
